Outsourced Accounting
Transactions, reconciliations and close handled by a named team, with a controller reviewing the package before you or your lender ever see it.
The close, the statements and the finance function behind them, from full-cycle bookkeeping through audit and fractional CFO support. Four specializations, one bench.
A company closing in week six is always deciding on stale information. Six weeks is long enough for a margin slip to become a quarter, for a receivable to become a write-off, and for a covenant to be breached before anyone can see it coming. The books are rarely wrong. They are simply late, and late compounds.
We take the whole cycle and close by the tenth business day, with a controller reviewing the package before it is issued. That review is the step most outsourced arrangements skip, and it is why their statements so often need rebuilding before a bank will accept them.
Above the close sits judgment: the forecast, the covenant model, the pricing question, the board pack. Some companies need that two days a month and some need it two days a week. Because the same firm produces the numbers, the CFO work does not begin with three weeks establishing whether the numbers are true.
Where independence requires it, these services stay separate. We cannot both keep a company’s books and audit them, and we will tell you that at the first meeting rather than halfway through an engagement letter.
Outsourced accounting and CFO services are frequently bought together. Assurance, by rule, stands apart.

The judgment layer above the close: what the numbers mean, what to do about them, and how to present them to a lender or a board.
Audits, reviews and compilations run by a team that plans early, requests once, and does not disappear between fieldwork and the report.
Registration, filings, classification and year-end forms across every state you employ in, coordinated with your payroll platform, not duplicating it.
The first sixty days carry the work. After that the month becomes genuinely routine, which is the entire point of the exercise.
Weeks one to four
We assess the current file, quantify the clean-up separately, and reconcile opening balances before taking anything over.
Weeks four to eight
Chart of accounts, approval routing, document capture and a written close checklist, so the process does not live inside one person’s head.
Monthly
Closed by the tenth, reviewed by a controller, issued with written commentary on what moved and why.
Quarterly
A manager or fractional CFO walks the quarter with you, ahead of estimates and ahead of the covenant test.
We will assess the current file and tell you what a clean-up costs before you commit to anything at all.
